The word, “liturgy”, means, “work of the people”. This team helps the congregation participate, more fully, in the work of worshipping and praising God! It initiates enhancements to our parish liturgy, especially during Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter. It especially strives to help each person experience, in a real way, the encounter with Christ through the Word of God, the Eucharist, the priest and the people of God.

Opportunity to participate: Quarterly meetings and participation in the liturgies.

The music ministry leads people, through music, into becoming more fully alive in Christ. St. Michael’s music ministry, with its cantors, adult and children choirs, contemporary music ministry and varied instrumentalists, serve at all weekend liturgies, as well as at special events.

Witness: “Singing is praying twice because we use our whole bodies to sing! I am so filled with joy when I sing praises to God!” - M
