Welcome to the Saint Michael Parish Family! Please take a moment to complete and return the parish census form as early as possible, making sure to list all the members of your family who will be joining the Parish. The information from the parish census helps us to better serve the Communication, Spiritual and Ministry needs of our parishioners. If you need assistance, please call our Parish office at (978) 686-4050 and we will be glad to assist you.
Youth Ministry
"Let no one look down on you because of your youth, but be a continuing example for those who believe; in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity"
(1 Timothy 4)

We are a combined group of teens. Starting at age of 12 or sixth grade (which ever comes first). Our focus is on ministry through service to others and social. In either case, we have fun. We build community through each other and encourage anyone to become a part of us. You are welcomed and wanted and the same goes for your ideas and thoughts– just stop by or call. We are informal but our mission is serious. To give you an idea, here is a list of some past ministry projects:

  • HANCOCK PROJECT, Lawrence, MA: All year we collect items for distribution, such as mittens or crafts, to this neighborhood residence. During the summer, we visit as a service project, to interact and play with the children. We even got new basket ball hoops for them to enjoy! If you’re creative, and have ideas about what you might like to do there, share them with us.
  • COR UNUM, Lawrence, MA: We make regular visits to help serve dinner at this beautiful meal center. We usually go two times a month from 4 to 7 PM. If you want a lesson in human dignity, this is the project for you.
  • ST. ANN’s SCHOOL and HOME, Methuen, MA: This is an opportunity to work here at St. Michael Youth Center but for teens over there. They are teens like us but with even more challenges. We don’t want to forget them so we make gifts, and send cards to let them know they are thought of too. It’s our way of saying we care, from here, and we pray for you.
Just for Fun, we’ve done Christmas Caroling, Movie nights, Bowling, Haunted Convents, Ski nights, Lazer craze, and much more!

PEER MINISTRY
As part of our efforts and because we know friends relate to friends best, we created a program for those who want to be a leader after Confirmation. You take the lead in applying your experience from Religious Ed and put your faith to work by helping the wider teen community in service projects, confirmation, and retreats.
