Weekend Mass Schedule Changes: Upon consulting the Parish Pastoral Council, Fr. John, Fr. Jerry, and Fr. Keyes have decided to cancel the 6pm Mass on Sundays from July 6 through September 7. Fr. Keyes’ health issues and the additional weekend wedding celebrations this summer necessitate that we alter the weekend Mass schedule. Thank you for your understanding. There are additional Sunday evening Masses in the area as follows: St. Augustine Parish, Andover - 5:30pm, St. Patrick Parish, Lawrence - 5:30pm, St. Monica Parish, Methuen - 6:00pm and Sacred Hearts Parish, Bradford - 7:00pm. |

Vacation Bible School is back again for another exciting summer! If you are looking for a wonderful experience for your children this summer, please consider enrolling them in VBS “Vacation Bible School” which will be held the week of July 28th-August 1st from 9am to noon each day. This year’s theme is “Son World: The Adventure Park VBS” where the children will join us for a thrilling ride learning more about Jesus. VBS is offered to all the surrounding churches and will be held at the Free Christian Church in Andover Ma. Last year we had a group of children and adults participate in VBS and everyone LOVED IT! The theme of an adventure park will appeal to all children. The emphasis is on fun, games, music, snacks while growing their faith in a very powerful way. The cost is only $35.00 per week. Pre-Cana Program. St. Michael's offers a Pre-Cana program twice a year (Spring and Fall). It is staffed entirely by parish couples who are willing to assist engaged couples prepare for marriage. Sometimes we get so caught up with adjusting to parenthood, that we never get around to having our children baptized! Maybe the time is now to share, in a new way, God's unconditional love for his children. Maybe the time is now to bring your child into the Catholic church family through the sacrament of baptism. If you have a child, Pre-Kindergarten to second grade who has not yet been baptized in the Catholic Church, make an appointment now with one of our priests by calling the rectory at 978-686-4050. |
